Speed Limit

Faster though you may be than he who drives
Inside of the flashing blue and red car,
But better still is he who overrides
His will and will submit himself from afar.
So when next you think to break a law
Think first to the one with jutting jaw
That sits behind, before, and around you.
But knowing is but a prelude to act,
For we often forget, misplace the fact,
And before we know it we've gone full out,
The throttle down to the floor, and about
The town do we ride, at a graceful speed!
So in response to that trooper afar
We say "There is no speed limit for cars!"
