The Hunter's Game

13) c) Chase him down, do not grieve! Do not chase
So easily as to allow reprieve
For his weary soul, but like a hunter
Seek him out until you have found him. Face
Your fears lest you be overcome by them;
For should it go free it shall marshal ten
Thousand more like it to attack. Offense
Then is your best chance to defeat his hide,
Do not allow him to grow in self pride
So that he may in his arrogance bide
What time he has in peace and quiet;
For what you give him is given in fear.
So like a falcon soaring high in clear
Winds may you overtake your tears of woe.
