Works of my Hand

Care for your work as you would a child,
Cherish your work, do not see it mildly,
But with the eyes of a hawk select each
Piece of your work; that you may reach some new
Crease within clay's potentiality.
So shall you overcome the dreary ways of past
Works and bring anew into the world tasks
That have yet to be seen by men's eyes!
Therefore choose your works carefully, so that
History may judge you kind, not despise
The works of your hand as the bane of souls
Yet to perish in the world you create!
For tree's are grown from seeds of fellow trees,
And evil grown from a foul windy breeze.
